Minggu, 14 Juli 2024 Parade Jetski 2024 di Serasan telah sukses dilaksanakan. Berlokasi di Pantai Sisi, Serasan 36 peserta parade yang berasal dari Temajuk, Kalimantan Barat dan Kuching, Sarawak berhasil memukau para pengunjung parade dengan kepiawaian mereka dalam mengendarai jetski.
Antusias masyarakat telah tampak sejak sebelum parade jetski dimulai. Pengunjung telah tampak memadati Pantai Sisi sejak pagi hari, begitu pula para penjaja makanan telah bersusun rapi menyediakan makanan dan minuman.
11 pemain jetski dari 36 peserta memasuki kawasan Pantai Sisi sambil beratraksi, mengundang decak kagum para penonton. Mereka dengan lihai memainkan jetski mereka meninggalkan jejak air yang membentuk lekukan-lekukan menarik.
Parade jetski 2024 ini tidak hanya menampilkan kepiawaian para pemain jetski, tetapi juga terdapat serangkaian acara lain yang turut memeriahkan kegiatan ini. Diantaranya adalah lomba dayung sampan, lomba melukis, lomba kukur kelapa, lomba fashion show, menganyam pandan, dan membuat gasing.
Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Natuna, Hardinansyah, menyampaikan bahwa Parade Jetski Serasan merupakan bagian dari rangkaian promosi pariwisata Natuna. Keseriusan peserta jetski ini terbukti dengan kehadiran mereka yang menempuh perjalanan jauh dengan ketski mereka mulai dari Sarawak hingga ke Pulau Serasan. “Kami terus berkoordinasi dengan peserta untuk memastikan adanya kegiatan lanjutan setelah parade ini. Kami berharap keberlanjutan kegiatan ini dan bertambahnya peserta dari komunitas jetski. Kami selaku Pemerintah Kabupaten Natuna berterima kasih kepada KJR Kuching atas bantuannya dalam mendukung kelancaran event Parade Jetski Sematan Malaysia – Serasan Natuna Indonesia.” Tuturnya.

JETSKI PARADE 2024 SERASAN SUCCESSFULLY HELD
The Natuna Regency Government, through the Natuna Regency Tourism Office, successfully held a Jetski Parade on Serasan Island, Natuna. This activity was held on Sunday July 14, 2024, and 36 participants were from outside Natuna, namely from Singkawang, Temajuk, and Kuching. Among them, eleven jetski participants displayed their skills in playing jetski with harmony in a group along the Sisi beach.
The first ever arrival of the jetski players to Serasan attracted the interest of the Serasan Island society. Their enthusiasm enlivening this jetski parade event. Since early this morning, the Sisi Beach area has been crowded with food and drink vendors, and visitors. Not only that, people of various ages attended a series of events to enliven this activity and become a part of this Jetski Parade. The series of events of the Jetski Parade 2024 namely boat rowing competition, coconut grating competition, painting competition, fashion show competition, making spinning tops, and weaving pandan mat, which is a typical Serasan MSMEs product.
This parade was opened directly by the Natuna Regent, Wan Siswandi, who was accompanied by the Natuna Vice Regent, the Chairman of TP PKK of Natuna Regency, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and the head of Organisasi Perangkat Daerah of Natuna Regency. The Natuna Regent hoped that this parade could improve the regional economy through the tourism sector in Natuna Regency, especially on Serasan Island.
“Hopefully, with this parade, tourists from outside the region and abroad will come, especially Sisi Serasan Beach, which will be better known to foreign countries. Hopefully this activity will entertain the communities, they will enjoy it, and surely the community’s economy will increase.” Said the Natuna Regent.
Meanwhile, the head of the Natuna Regency Tourism Office, Hardinansyah, explained that this jetski parade is a series of promotions for the tourism attractions in Natuna, especially Serasan, for local and foreign tourists. “The jetski participants traveled a long distance from Sarawak to Serasan. Thus, a proof of their seriousness for this parade. We keep on coordinate with the participants to ensure that there will be a continuation after this event. We hope that the continuation of this event will attract more participants from the jetski community,” he said. Hardinansyah also expressed his gratitude to all parties who supported this activity, so that this parade successfully held.
This jetski parade is expected to increase the number of tourists who come from both local and foreign countries. Serasan Island has a PLBN (State Border Crossing Post), which is the gateway to Natuna via sea.
